Coming from a family
of artists, Joan was born and educated in northeastern Illinois and
has lived in Kenosha, Wisconsin since 1961. She discovered
undeveloped artistic abilities at the age of 49 when she pursued
watercolor and oil painting in studio art classes at local museums.
She believes it is never too late to begin new ventures.
Joan's paintings
reflect her prime fascination and continuous inspiration which come
from the quaint areas of Europe, Asia and the United States she has
visited.

positive by adding color, value and light, using God-given talent to
make a difference in other people's lives."
